Welcome to Westmount Karate-Do and Kobudo Club 

We are located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and are a non-profit society registered under the Alberta Societies Act.
  We gratefully acknowledge Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation for their recent financial contribution to our dojo.

Our dojo provides a family-friendly environment, teaching traditional Japanese Karate. 
We offer instruction in Shito-Ryu Karate within the Genbukai organization, as taught by Shihan Fumio Demura. 
Genbukai also includes Kobudo, instruction in traditional Okinawan weapons.

Our chief instructor is Sensei John Watson. 
The dojo is a member of the Genbukai Canada organization, headed by Sensei Cameron Steuart.
